The Kardamyli Festival

1st - 5th October 2026

With just 400 attendees, this is an opportunity to join some of the world’s top thinkers within the seaside charm of Kardamyli in the Greek Peloponnese.

Kardamyli Festival was a nonstop glorious experience: brilliant talks; exhilarating company; glorious setting; nothing quite like it."— Sir Simon Schama

The Kardamyli Festival

Kardamyli is the Peloponnese’s most beautiful seaside village and was the home of Patrick and Joan Leigh Fermor. What better place to stage a festival devoted to all that’s best in the worlds of literature, history and culture?

Now in its sixth year, the next Kardamyli festival will run from Thursday 1st October to Monday 5th October 2026. It will begin with a sunset drinks party on Thursday evening at Patrick Leigh Fermor’s house to welcome festival-goers, followed by an exciting programme of speakers across the weekend, all culminating in a gala dinner with live music beside the sea.

We look forward to welcoming you back.
Charlotte and James Heneage

The 2026 Kardamyli Festival will run from 1st to 5th October.

Tickets will be available from the website on Monday March 2nd 2026, from 9.00 am UK time.
